Khaberni - Death claimed, today, Sunday, the Syrian artist Adnan Kano, one of the stars of Syrian drama, after a long artistic career during which he participated in dramatic works that achieved widespread popularity.
The Artists Union in Syria, Damascus branch, grieved the late artist with a post on its Facebook page, stating that the date of his funeral and burial will be announced later.
Many artists and bloggers participated in mourning the late artist, who left a mark in the diverse roles he played in theater, television, and radio throughout his career spanning decades.
Artist Adnan Kano belongs to a well-known artistic family in Syria, with many members working in the fields of acting, directing, and photography, in television, radio, and theater, and he is the father of the young photographer Bilal Kano.
Adnan Kano was born in the Syrian capital Damascus, and was one of the founders of the musical theatre group Dababis, founded by the Kano brothers including the late director Marwan Kano.
Artist Adnan Kano participated in various roles in several works, including the Syrian series "Abu Al-Mafhoumia," a comedic social series that was shown about 23 years ago, which garnered significant viewership, featuring prominent stars such as Hossam Tahsin Bek, the late Nagi Jaber, and Wafaa Mousalli.
Among his television works is also the social series "The Crawlers" which was shown in the early 1990s, and the series "The Will" which was shown about a quarter of a century ago and dealt with contemporary social issues including youth problems, sibling disputes, and the impact of marital issues on children's lives.
The late artist also participated in the famous series "Abu Kameel," which was shown in the 1990s, and the series "Al-Dunya Madhak Mabki," which consists of separate episodes that address social issues in a comedic format.
Despite the secondary roles that the late artist portrayed in most of his television works, he managed to create a mark for himself in the Syrian artistic arena, which includes renowned names that achieved local and Arab fame.
