Video Indian seller chases train to retrieve his money from a passenger who refused to pay

Khaberni - An Indian vendor chased a moving train in an effort to retrieve his fare from a passenger who refused to pay, sparking a wave of sympathy and anger on social media.

A widely circulated video showed the young man running alongside the train as it moved from an undisclosed station, waving his hands and screaming, pleading for the passenger to return his financial dues after he had eaten without paying.

The video documented another traveler who tried to help the vendor by asking for his phone number to transfer the amount electronically, but the attempt was not successful before the train moved away.

The scene, which quickly spread on social platforms, provoked widespread outrage among users who described the passenger's behavior as a "lack of human conscience," asserting that such actions reflect the difficult living conditions of vendors who rely on every sale to secure their livelihood.

Followers noted that the video highlights the daily challenges faced by vendors at Indian railway stations, where the work environment is highly competitive and lacks strict regulations to protect their rights.

Tweeters also called on the authorities to identify and punish the passenger, to ensure the respect of vendors' rights, considering that protecting these small groups represents a standard for social justice.
