Khaberni - Killed and injured fell in an explosion at a police station in the Indian side of the Kashmir region.
Indian sources stated that at least seven people were killed and 27 were injured when a large amount of explosives detonated in a police station in the part of Kashmir under Indian control.
The explosives had been seized as part of a broad security operation days earlier, according to "Reuters".
The channel "NDTV" quoted sources as saying that most of the deceased were policemen and forensic team officials who were examining the explosives at the police station.
The channel added that the death toll is likely to rise as five of the injured are still in critical condition.
The cause of the explosion has not yet been verified.
