Khaberni - Private school and kindergarten teachers in Qatar are now subject to assessment tests for cognitive efficiency and professional ability in teaching the three mandatory subjects: "Arabic language, Islamic education, and Qatar history" for the academic year 2025 - 2026, according to a decision by the Qatari Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The assessment criteria are based on official classroom visits, student performance results, alongside reviewing Arabic and international standards and adopting assessment items. The project was initially applied experimentally in fifty schools and kindergartens, and also included training specialists, implementing classroom visits, and collecting feedback.

In a related context, the Qatari project enhances the quality of private education in the basic national subjects to formulate a unified professional framework that ensures the implementation of mandatory curricula with standards that improve instructional performance and enhance effective educational practices, as stated by the Qatari Ministry of Education.

Meanwhile, the project will be implemented through an official circular for the use of an electronic form, organizing introductory workshops for schools, monitoring performance through periodic reports, and collecting feedback to ensure continuous improvement. The assessment results will be adopted as a primary reference for professional efficiency reports and professional development programs for teachers.
