Khaberni - Silver prices in today's Thursday trading rose by approximately 1.5%, surpassing for the first time in history the $54 per ounce mark.
According to the trades, the futures contracts for silver in December surged by 1.46% to reach $54.24 per ounce.
Prior to that in the trades, the contracts were traded at $54.395 per ounce, marking a historical peak.
