Khaberni - The evening pricing issued by the Jewelers and Goldsmiths Guild on Thursday showed a slight decrease in the prices of yellow metal in the local Jordanian market compared to the morning pricing.
The selling price of 21-karat gold, the most in demand among citizens, registered about 104.100 Jordanian Dinars for sale, while the buying price dropped to 99.300 Jordanian Dinars, due to the fluctuations experienced by the global stock market following the release of US economic data.
Regarding the updated prices for the other karats, the selling price of 24-karat gold was about 118.900 Jordanian Dinars, while 18-karat gold was priced at 92.400 Jordanian Dinars for sale.
Meanwhile, the selling price for 14-karat reached 72.100 Jordanian Dinars, with a simultaneous decrease in the buying prices for all these karats, reflecting the market's tendency towards relative calming after the sharp rises that characterized the early transactions.
