Khaberni - The UAE Floating Hospital in El-Arish continues to provide its medical and humanitarian services to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as part of Operation "Noble Knight 3," aimed at alleviating the suffering of the wounded and providing specialized healthcare that helps save lives and provide urgent humanitarian support.
In the context of these ongoing humanitarian efforts, the medical team at the hospital performed a precise surgical operation on a Palestinian young man suffering from complex fractures in his right leg and right arm, along with complications from previous injuries.
The operation included a deep wound cleaning and the installation of a specialized suction device to ensure swift recovery and prevent any additional complications.
The patient is currently receiving necessary medical care and undergoes physical therapy sessions from the specialized staff onboard the hospital, as part of a comprehensive treatment plan that ensures the highest levels of care.
Physical therapy
Dr. Ali Saeed Al Kaabi, Director of the UAE Floating Hospital, confirmed that the patient is receiving meticulous care, following an intensive physical therapy program with the hospital's specialized team to ensure a quick recovery and restore his capabilities, while also providing the necessary psychological and humanitarian support during the recovery phase.
He explained that the role of the UAE floating hospital is not limited to medical care and surgery but extends to providing psychological and social care to the patients and their companions, ensuring a comprehensive therapeutic environment that promotes quick recovery and alleviates the suffering of the patients, which reflects the ongoing humanitarian commitment of the UAE towards the Palestinians.
Since its inauguration in February 2024, the UAE Floating Hospital in El-Arish has been providing its services to Palestinians from Gaza, continuing to receive various cases including precise surgeries, orthopedics, and rehabilitation and physical therapy, along with psychological and social support, within a comprehensive humanitarian system that embodies the enduring humanitarian approach of the UAE in standing by the affected and providing sustainable health support to them.
