Tareq Al Ali Presents a Moving Apology to Hayat Al Fahad in Front of Her Daughter

Khaberni - In a humanitarian gesture that received wide interaction across social media platforms, a public seminar witnessed a moving appearance by the Kuwaiti artist Tareq Al Ali, who openly and directly apologized to "Susan," the daughter of the late artist Hayat Al Fahad, who was among the audience.

With a moving tone, Al Ali expressed his deep regret for any offense he may have previously caused, affirming his profound respect for the late artist and her honorable family.

He concluded his remarks by asking for forgiveness and pardon from the artist known as the "Lady of the Gulf Screen," saying: "I hope you forgive me and absolve me."

The situation was highly praised by the audience and activists who shared the video clip as an example of sophistication in dealing within the artistic community.

The year 2017 saw a dispute between Hayat Al Fahad and Tareq Al Ali, based on the latter's attack on the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts for its decision to prevent students from acting, while artist Hayat Al Fahad defended the decision, which provoked Tareq and led to an escalation of the dispute between them.

In the following year, the Kuwaiti artist Tareq Al Ali appeared in a documented video clip with the president of the Arab Theater Chamber, apologizing to him, as well as apologizing to artist Hayat Al Fahad, following a new crisis that erupted between them due to the leak of an audio clip described as "offensive," which was attributed to Tareq Al Ali.

In the clip, Al Ali commented: "Even Professor Hayat Al Fahad deserves all appreciation and respect, and I could never disparage her in any day; she deserves all appreciation and love, but keep these seditions away from her.".
