Khaberni - The U.S. Central Command announced today, Wednesday, that its forces contributed to more than 22 operations against ISIS in Syria, where 5 members of the organization were killed and 19 were arrested.
The Central Command added that the operations were carried out from the first of October to the sixth of November, according to "Reuters".
Syria recently signed a political cooperation declaration with the international coalition to defeat ISIS, and carries out preemptive operations nationwide against the organization, according to the agency.
The Syrian Minister of Information, Hamza Al-Mustafa, said that the agreement signed between Syria and the international coalition to combat ISIS is "purely a political agreement and does not include at this stage any military components or commitments," indicating that it aims to "enhance cooperation in combating terrorism and supporting regional stability."
