Doctors Without Borders Humanitarian Situation in Gaza Still Horrific

Khaberni - The organization "Doctors Without Borders" stated that the humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip are still horrific a month after the "fragile" cease-fire, pointing out the continuous daily casualties from Israeli military gunfire, especially near the "Yellow Line", amid strict restrictions on aid entry.

Emergency coordinator at the organization, Caroline Seguin, stated in a Wednesday press release that many Palestinians risk their lives by returning to check on their homes, while major hospitals are within areas controlled by the military, complicating access to medical care.

She added that the Israeli occupation authorities are obstructing the entry of essential aid such as medicine, shelter supplies, and sanitation items, emphasizing that the current suffering "is completely avoidable."

She noted that thousands of displaced people are living in tents lacking water and electricity, amid the accumulation of waste and the spread of skin, respiratory, and digestive diseases, with winter approaching.

The organization demanded the immediate allowance of increasing humanitarian aid entrance to Gaza without obstacles.
