Khaberni - As part of Amman Arab University's efforts to improve academic capabilities and enhance the technical competencies of its faculty members, the University's Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Center, in collaboration with the Jordan Gaming Lab, organized a specialized training workshop titled "TOT in Using Unity", with the participation of several faculty members from the College of Information Technology and the Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Center.
The workshop aimed to train qualified trainers in the field of electronic game development using the Unity platform, which is considered one of the most important global platforms for designing two-dimensional and three-dimensional games and interactive applications. This training is part of the national efforts aimed at developing the academic staff's skills in modern digital technologies, virtual and augmented reality, and educational simulation.
The training program included intensive sessions that focused on the advanced technical and technical aspects of using the Unity platform, where it covered training participants in designing three-dimensional models, programming movement and visual effects, dealing with programming interfaces and C# language, in addition to implementing practical applications in building professional digital game projects that simulate the actual work environment in the field of electronic game development. The training also covered the basics of user experience (UX) design and elements of visual and audio output, which contributes to the development of high-quality educational and entertainment digital content.
Participants confirmed during the training workshop that the program significantly added to their experiences and tangibly expanded their technical knowledge and deepened their understanding of digital game development tools, noting that it opened new horizons for updating and developing academic curricula in line with labor market requirements and trends in technology and digital innovation. This workshop is part of the efforts of the Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Center at Amman Arab University aimed at enabling the academic staff to keep up with the latest technological trends and enhance a university environment that stimulates creativity and excellence in the fields of technology and digital entrepreneurship.
