Khaberni - In the context of the Faculty of Nursing at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan's endeavor to develop the applied learning environment and enhance the quality of clinical learning, the faculty organized a specialized training event in its laboratories presented by the British expert from Laerdal company, Mr. Tom Boyd Tom Boyd/, which involved the operation and activation of the advanced simulation lab for maternity and neonatal nursing (MamaAnne Simulation Lab.).
The event featured the implementation of a set of obstetric nursing scenarios using the “MamaAnne” simulation device, focusing on the technical aspects of high-precision simulation techniques, alongside effective academic facilitation methods, and debriefing sessions, which contribute to maximizing educational outputs and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application.
The Nursing Faculty team showed noticeable interaction during the event, as the faculty members actively participated in applying various scenarios, posed in-depth scientific questions, and practically learned about the capabilities of the lab and its mechanisms for integration into academic programs. This experience also reflected the readiness of the educational staff and their ability to employ modern simulation technologies in developing nursing learning outcomes.
The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hassan Abu Al-Raz, affirmed the faculty's ongoing commitment to adopting the latest educational technologies, which contribute to preparing nursing cadres qualified to meet the requirements of healthcare according to the highest professional standards.
