Khaberni - Within the framework of the efforts of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Amman Arab University to enhance its academic and research presence locally and internationally, and to affirm its commitment to academic excellence and research contributions, Dr. Raida Amari, a faculty member at the college, participated in an international conference titled "Insights into Linguistics, Literature, and Translation Studies in the AI Era", in collaboration with the Arab Universities English Language and Translation Professors Association (APETAU).

Dr. Amari presented a research paper at the conference titled: “ChatGPT as a Research Writing Tool: Perspectives of English Major Students in a Private University”, in which she discussed the students' perspectives on the use of artificial intelligence tools, specifically ChatGPT, in supporting academic research writing. She highlighted the benefits of employing artificial intelligence in developing research writing skills, in addition to discussing the challenges related to critical thinking, originality, and ethical considerations. This participation also provided a valuable opportunity to interact with a group of researchers and specialists in the fields of linguistics, literature, and translation, to exchange academic experiences, and to contribute to enriching the scientific dialogue on integrating AI technologies in higher education.

This participation came as part of the efforts of Amman Arab University in keeping up with research developments in the fields of language, literature, and translation, and highlighting the impacts of artificial intelligence in the humanities and academic fields.
