Khaberni - Today, Tuesday, MP Ahmad Al-Qatawneh disrupted the endorsement of the legal committee which was previously agreed upon by the members of the House of Representatives by acclamation.
The council, during the tenure of Mazen Al-Qadi who was elected by acclamation, was accustomed to acclamation in its internal elections and the permanent office in a new Jordanian political scene.
The session witnessed altercations under the dome, following Al-Qatawneh’s announcement of his candidacy for membership of the legal committee, Khaberni, which angered several MPs who rejected his nomination, leading to elections to select the committee members.
On her part, the assistant speaker of the House of Representatives, MP Hala Al-Jarrah, confirmed that agreement was reached on the formation of Khaberni 17 out of 20 parliamentary committees, with the exception of the agriculture, labor, and administrative committees.
Al-Jarrah emphasized that no parliamentary bloc was excluded from this agreement.
Today, Tuesday, in subsequent statements Khaberni Mazen Al-Qadi said he will lead agreements to endorse the committees.
