Khaberni - The Saudi Ministry of Education is preparing to soon launch an appointment booking service via the My School platform for those interested in visiting general education schools in both the male and female sectors for students' parents and mothers.
Parents' Visit
The service aims to create a safe educational environment by controlling and documenting the visiting hours of the parents to the school and servicing them in an organized and smooth manner. A parent can be summoned through sending a notification, controlling the entry and exit process for the school building, organizing, and documenting the entry and exit of parents, and limiting school building visits to those who have a genuine and clear interest through specifying the reason for the visit.
The ministry explained in the service guide that the service will be available throughout the week, and the number of visits allowed for a parent per week is one, emphasizing the importance of writing the reasons for the visit and linking them according to the role (school principal, deputy, student counselor), noting that the visit will be available remotely and in person, and if a reservation is made for one type of visit, it is cancelled from the other type.
