Gulf Cooperation Council 85 of Irans missiles are directed towards the Gulf states

Jassem Al-Badiwi, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, revealed that Iran has directed about 85% of its missiles towards the Gulf states, emphasizing that Iranian behavior in the region exceeded all limits, and he outlined three main principles for handling Iranian aggressions.

Al-Badiwi also said in a comprehensive briefing aimed at journalists that the Gulf states will not accept the continuation of deceit and coating the aggression with false pretenses, noting that they exhibit the highest degrees of self-restraint towards the Iranian aggression, yet they preferred not to respond in order not to expand the scope of the conflict.

In the same context, the Gulf official emphasized that the council states prefer diplomatic options, reiterating the reminder that the Gulf states have made numerous diplomatic efforts to avoid escalation, despite confirming that they will not use their territories to launch any attack on Iran, the latter continued to carry out military operations towards the Gulf affecting many civilian and residential facilities.

He explained in the context of reviewing the scale of Iranian aggression with more than 5000 missiles and drones, affirming that the Gulf states' right to self-defense is guaranteed by international law, saying: "We will not accept the continuation of deceit and coating the aggression with false pretenses.
