Khaberni - On Monday, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, called for the performance of the Salat al-Istisqa (prayer for rain) across all parts of Saudi Arabia next Thursday.

Following the tradition of our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, in performing the Salat al-Istisqa, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, has called for its observance throughout the Kingdom on Thursday the 22nd of Jumada al-Awwal 1447 AH, according to the Umm al-Qura calendar, which corresponds to November 13, 2025.

The statement added that "everyone is requested to increase their repentance, seek forgiveness, return to Allah, be kind to His servants, ease others' hardships, relieve their distress, and increase voluntary acts of obedience such as charities, prayers, and recitations."

It also stated that "every capable individual should be diligent in performing the prayer, following the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, demonstrating our dependence on Allah, the Exalted, and persistently supplicating, as Allah loves those of His servants who frequently supplicate and persist in it."
