Khaberni - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmad Al-Hunaity, visited the Martyr Mofaq Al-Salti Air Base today, Monday, and was received by the Commander of the Royal Air Force.
Major General Al-Hunaity listened to a briefing presented by the Base Commander about the most significant administrative, technical, and operational developments, which included a review of training and qualification plans and the stages of executing development and modernization projects being witnessed by the Royal Air Force, including the newly inaugurated Air Traffic Control Tower, equipped with the latest advanced technological systems that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of air operations management and improving the level of safety for military aviation.
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff praised the exceptional level achieved by the Royal Air Force formations, affirming the continued support for developing its human and technical capabilities to meet the requirements of fieldwork and enhance operational readiness under various conditions.
In a related context, Major General Al-Hunaity inaugurated a commercial complex inside the base, affiliated with Al-Walaa Company to serve the personnel of the Armed Forces, designated for providing supply and recreational services to the base’s personnel and their families, contributing to the improvement of the work environment and providing daily necessities for the employees at their service location.
This visit comes within the framework of the Jordanian Armed Forces General Command's keenness to monitor the fieldwork progress in various units and formations and to oversee the services provided to its members, to enhance the level of development in a way that contributes to improving institutional performance.
