Khaberni - The CEO of the Jordan Payment and Clearing Company, Jobak, Maha Al-Baho, confirmed that the Klick service will be completely suspended in Jordan starting from midnight on Monday to Tuesday, and it will last for up to 8 hours, in order to update the infrastructure and the security network of the service.
Al-Baho pointed out that this suspension is the longest in its history, as usually the service is halted for an hour or two, while this update and development will be the longest and will include accounts and electronic wallets.
She noted that some banks have already sent messages to their customers regarding the service suspension, confirming that there will be another shorter suspension in the coming period, according to the Kingdom.
It is noted that Klick service payments have grown by 73.2% in the first nine months of this year, compared to the same period in 2024, while the number of transactions has increased by about 109% during this period.
Data from the Jordan Payment and Clearing Systems, "Jobak", indicated that the value of Klick service transactions reached 14.5 billion dinar, from the beginning of the year until the end of September, up from 8.37 billion dinar during the same period in 2024, of which about 1.87 billion dinar was in the last month alone.
