Khaberni - The Directorate of Agriculture of North Ghor began, today Sunday, an electronic tagging campaign for livestock across various areas of the district.
And the Director of Agriculture for the district, Engineer Mohammed Al-Naim, told the Jordanian News Agency (Petra) that the goal of the electronic tagging program, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, is to organize the animal wealth sector, update the national database for breeders, improve the services provided to them, and ensure traceability of animal production sources according to health and productivity standards.
He pointed out that the tagging process using electronic chips will be conducted through specialized field teams from the department of animal wealth at the directorate, urging livestock breeders to cooperate with the committees for this purpose.
