The leaders, during a meeting in the United Arab Emirates, condemned any attacks on Jordan and the UAE and their sovereignty, emphasizing that Arab states were not parties to the war and did not start it, but tried to contain the crisis and avoid the region slipping into conflict.
His Majesty the King pointed to Jordan's continuation of taking all necessary measures to protect citizens and maintain its security and stability.
The leaders stressed the need to intensify joint Arab action and enhance coordination with partners and significant forces to achieve a comprehensive and sustainable calm that restores stability to the region, reaffirming the need to resort to dialogue and diplomacy to stop the conflict.
His Majesty the King alerted to the danger of exploiting the current developments as a pretext to restrict the freedom of worshippers to access Al-Aqsa Mosque/Blessed Al-Haram Al-Sharif, and imposing a new reality in the West Bank and Gaza.
