Khaberni - Passed away today, Sunday, in Jordan, the Egyptian scientist and preacher Dr. Zaghloul Al-Najjar at the age of 92 years, after a scientific and preaching career that spanned decades.
The late departed was known for his steadfastness on principle and the purity of his allegiance to his religion and nation, leaving behind a rich scientific and intellectual legacy that enriched modern Islamic thought, and was a prominent reference in the field of scientific miracles in the Holy Quran.
The funeral prayer will be held tomorrow, Monday 10-11-2025, after the noon prayer at Abu Aisha Mosque near the seventh circle in the capital, Amman, and his body will be buried in Um Al-Qutain cemetery / Naour precinct.
Al-Najjar is considered one of the most prominent scientists who contributed to linking natural sciences with the scientific miracles in the Holy Quran, known for his efforts in clarifying aspects of the scientific miracles in a solid academic style.
The deceased left a prominent mark in the field of Quranic studies, through dozens of books and lectures he presented in the Arab and Islamic worlds, held several academic positions inside and outside Egypt, and was a member of several scientific and preaching bodies.
