Khaberni - Yemenia Airways issued a new circular that determines the travel conditions for citizens to Saudi Arabia. The circular states that travelers with a work visa (for first-time entry) must have a round-trip ticket. However, there is no objection to issuing one-way tickets for Umrah visa holders.
This notice, issued by the Agency Affairs Administration, has been distributed to all authorized travel and tourism offices to ensure the immediate implementation of these instructions.
This measure comes at a time when Yemenia Airways faces severe operational challenges, recently represented by the hijacking of four of its airplanes to Sana'a International Airport, and one of them being bombed by Israeli aircraft in response to Houthi attacks.
