Khaberni - Kuwaiti media sources said that the public prosecution decided to imprison the famous artist Ilham Al-Fadalah after a leaked audio recording of hers was circulated, which caused widespread controversy.
"Al-Qabas" newspaper stated that the prosecution decided to detain Al-Fadalah for 21 days and transferred her to the central prison after considering her case as related to "state security".
Activists circulated a leaked recording of Al-Fadalah, in which she criticized the general situation in the country and described Kuwait as "a country of melons".
Al-Fadalah said, "Despite my love for it, it is a country of injustice, a country not of peace, a land not for its people, a country for the foreigners".
