UAE Air Defenses Counter Iranian Missiles and Drones

Khaberni - The Ministry of Defense in the United Arab Emirates announced that the air defense systems successfully dealt with attacks that included ballistic and cruise missiles, in addition to drones launched from the Iranian side.

The Ministry clarified in an official statement that the air defenses intercepted four ballistic missiles and 25 drones during the recent attacks, confirming the defensive systems' readiness to handle various aerial threats.

Statistics issued by the Ministry indicate that since the beginning of the escalation, there have been interactions with 1773 drones, 15 cruise missiles, and 345 ballistic missiles, as part of the ongoing defensive operations to protect the nation's airspace.

The relevant authorities confirmed that these operations are part of efforts to maintain the security of the state and the safety of its territories amid escalating tensions in the region.

These developments come in the context of increasing regional escalation, where the area is experiencing an exchange of attacks among various parties, raising the level of aerial threats.
