Unknown impersonating artist extorts stars and the Egyptian Actors Syndicate warns

Khaberni - The Egyptian Actors' Syndicate warned its members about an unknown person impersonating the artist Talaat Al-Sharif and exploiting his name to defraud several of his colleagues in the artistic community, after he contacted them by phone asking for money under the pretense of going through difficult health circumstances.

Talaat Al-Sharif confirmed in his statements that what happened is a clear case of impersonation, explaining that he was surprised by a number of calls from colleagues asking about his requests for money, only to later discover that an unknown person was using his name and various phone numbers in an attempt to collect money fraudulently.

Al-Sharif indicated that he is in the process of taking all legal actions against this impersonator, who has harmed him and exploited his reputation among his peers.
In turn, the Egyptian Actors' Syndicate emphasized in an official statement the need for caution and not to deal with anyone claiming to be Talaat Al-Sharif or any other artist, confirming that such acts are classified as fraud and identity theft, which are punishable by law.

The Syndicate confirmed that it is closely following the incident and is providing full support to the artist Talaat Al-Sharif in his legal proceedings, indicating that it will continue to take necessary steps to ensure the culprit is held accountable and deter any similar attempts targeting the artistic community.
