Khaberni - Middle East University hosted a delegation from the Industrial Research and Development Support Fund to discuss ways of collaboration between the two sides in developing applied scientific research and connecting it to the needs of the industrial sector.
The Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Ahmed Musa, emphasized the university's keenness to employ academic knowledge in finding innovative solutions to industrial challenges, supporting the national economy.
For her part, the Director of the Fund, Engineer Abeer Ramadan, presented an overview of the Fund's programs and initiatives, particularly the Food Security Program - Third Round, and mechanisms to support joint research projects between universities and industry.
The meeting witnessed a fruitful discussion that covered future cooperation opportunities and the design of impactful applied research projects, emphasizing the necessity of continuing coordination between the two sides to enhance the culture of innovation and applied research in the kingdom.
