Khaberni - The College of Media at Middle East University organized a specialized training program on information verification and source investigation techniques, in cooperation with the platform «Sheek», and with the participation of the college students.
The program aimed to provide students with advanced skills in news verification and media content analysis, and to enable them to become acquainted with the latest methodologies and techniques in information verification, including the use of artificial intelligence applications to detect misleading news and enhance the credibility of content published across various platforms.
In this regard, the dean of the college, Dr. Ramez Abu Hasira, stated that the program is in line with the university's strategy aimed at empowering students with modern digital media tools, and developing their capabilities in critical thinking and professional analysis, which enables them to acquire practical skills and professional certifications within academic courses, and enhances their chances to engage in the media labor market with efficiency and professionalism.
