Report Flick seriously considering leaving Barcelona

Khaberni - News reports revealed a shocking surprise being prepared by the German Hansi Flick, coach of Barcelona, for the club's management and fans in the upcoming period.

Barcelona will face a tough European test against Club Brugge in Belgium tonight, Wednesday, as part of the Champions League.

Flick hopes that his team will deliver a convincing performance on the continental level, especially after the recent criticism some players faced due to poor effectiveness in front of the goal.

Barcelona enters this match with great ambition to win and capture the three points, after achieving victories in the first two rounds, then experiencing a loss against Paris Saint-Germain.

According to the website "abc", Flick is planning to leave Barcelona at the end of the current season.

The report clarified that since September, Flick has been informing his technical staff about his desire to leave Barcelona, stating that he feels "extremely exhausted".

Although the German coach had hinted on more than one occasion that his tenure at the club would not last more than three years, similar to Pep Guardiola’s four years and Cruyff's six years, his unstable start this season has led him to decide to settle with what he has already offered.

The report added: "So far, Flick has not officially informed neither Deco nor Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona, of his decision, but he has confided in his assistants and analysts, admitting his frustration with the players' declining discipline and the lack of support he found from the administration."

These reasons combined are the driving force behind Flick's intention to leave Barcelona a year before his contract expires, reflecting the mental and psychological exhaustion the German coach is currently experiencing.

Following today's match, Barcelona will continue its journey in the Spanish league with an away game against Celta Vigo on Sunday, November 9, which is considered one of the toughest stages for the team in the upcoming period.

After this flurry of matches, Barcelona will get a short break due to the international break, where a large number of its players will join their national teams, including Lamine Yamal among others with the Spanish team, which then faces matches in the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
