Previously, even though Maha Ahmed appeared in several videos on the "TikTok" app announcing that she was making videos on the platform to earn money, she retracted everything she had said and requested in her videos, after videos surfaced showing her attacking the audience, where several app users compared Maha's stance with that of Badriya.
In her first comment on this matter, Maha Ahmed said during press statements: "I'm not going to talk about the TikTok issue and whatever my guild leader Ashraf Zaki says, I'm with him," which many social media activists considered a retraction of her statements in the videos she posted on "TikTok."
