Khaberni - Saudi "TV11" announced the presentation of its new film "Hostage" exclusively on Netflix, in a cinematic experience that combines suspense and dark comedy.
The film, which is set to premiere on Netflix on December 11th, tracks the endeavors of Sattam, a businessman grappling with a series of financial failures, as he tries to save his family and escape mounting pressures by concocting a plan to kidnap his father for ransom, believing this solution will extricate him from his predicament.
The events quickly turn into relentless chaos as reckless characters intervene and amusing paradoxes escalate, focusing on the tension arising from mistakes and misunderstandings, creating a dynamic drama that intertwines failure, determination, and the desire to survive.
The film provides a clear depiction of a person facing the utter limits of despair, where good intentions morph into tragically comical situations, and the film portrays the daily challenges of survival in an unforgiving world that does not spare mistakes.
Starring in "Hostage" are Mohammed Aldokhi as Sattam, Yazeed Almajwal as Yacoub, Abdulaziz Alsekairin as Suleiman, with special guest Saied Alowiran in his first acting role, alongside Abdullah Aldrees, Khaled Houijan, Abrar Faisal, and Ali Bin Mufrah.
