Khaberni - The General Directorate of Saudi Civil Defense conducted a test of fixed alarm sirens in areas across the kingdom including Riyadh City and the provinces (Diriyah, Al-Kharj, and Ad-Dilam), the Tabuk region, and Mecca in the provinces (Jeddah and Thuwal), simultaneously with the launch of the national early warning platform across all regions of the kingdom, aiming to test the efficiency of the alarm systems and their readiness in broadcasting auditory warnings during emergencies.
The General Directorate confirmed that this test is part of the development and enhancement of the readiness of early warning systems, and to boost emergency response capabilities, ensuring rapid delivery of alerts to the population in various regions, and enhancing public safety and risk prevention.
