Khaberni - Lebanese President Joseph Aoun emphasized on Monday that his country has no choice but to negotiate.
Aoun said during meetings at the Presidential Palace: "In politics, there are 3 tools for action, which are diplomacy, economy, and military. When war leads us nowhere, what do we do? The end of every war in various countries was negotiation, and negotiation is not with a friend or ally but with an enemy."
This comes as the Israeli Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, issued a new warning to Lebanon on Sunday. He warned in statements that Hezbollah is playing with fire, accusing the Lebanese authorities of stalling.
Katz also considered it necessary for the Lebanese government to fulfill its commitments to disarm Hezbollah and remove it from the south.
He also emphasized that "Israel will not allow any threat to the residents of the north." He confirmed that the Israeli forces will intensify the implementation of maximum measures in Lebanon.
