Khaberni - US Representative Ilhan Omar called for the immediate impeachment of President Donald Trump, describing him as "crazy and unstable," following his threats to destroy Iranian infrastructure and return Iran to the "Stone Age".
Ilhan Omar wrote in a post on the "X" platform: "This is unacceptable, the 25th amendment of the American Constitution must be invoked, isolation and dismissal.. This unstable madman must be removed from office".
It is worth mentioning that the 25th amendment of the American Constitution allows for the president's removal from office if it is proven that he is physically or mentally incapable of performing his duties, implicitly suggesting by Omar that Trump has lost the mental fitness to lead the country.
This attack comes in response to a post by Trump on "Truth Social" in which he threatened Iran, demanding the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz, waving severe military consequences if not complied with.
Trump wrote provocatively: "Open the strait, you lunatics, or you will live in hell", hinting that Tuesday will witness what he described as "power station day and bridge day" in Iran, a clear reference to anticipated military strikes targeting vital Iranian infrastructure.
The White House has renewed its threat to cause widespread destruction to Iran and return it to the "Stone Age," if Tehran fails to reach an agreement with the United States before the deadline of the ultimatum expires.
So far, no official response has been issued from the Iranian side to this latest threat, while Tehran has consistently asserted that any American aggression will be met with a decisive and comprehensive response protecting the country's sovereignty and the interests of its people.
