Khaberni - The Royal Military Police launched today, Monday, the annual winter awareness campaign titled #"Commit, Winter Begins with a Step of Awareness"#, coinciding with the approaching winter season and the associated changes in weather conditions that may affect traffic movement and driver safety.
The leadership of the Royal Military Police confirmed that the campaign aims to ensure the readiness of military vehicles and their suitability for operation under various weather conditions, and the importance of adherence to traffic instructions and following safety procedures while driving, especially during rainfalls, fog formations, and slips.
The campaign activities include distributing brochures and informative bulletins and holding guidance lectures aimed at explaining the potential risks when using military vehicles under unusual weather conditions, and how to deal with them in a safe and responsible manner, in addition to providing technical advice on inspecting vehicles and ensuring their technical readiness before starting, which ensures the continuous execution of military duties with high efficiency.
This campaign is part of the ongoing efforts made by the Jordanian Armed Forces to raise traffic awareness among its members and enhance the culture of safe driving, which helps in reducing accidents and preserving lives and properties, and road users during the winter season.
