Khaberni - Physical therapy students from Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan participated in a lecture on early detection of cerebral palsy in children, held at the Zaha Cultural Center on World Cerebral Palsy Day, and organized by the Jordanian Cerebral Palsy Association in collaboration with Petra Drugstore.
The students participated by attending the event and distributing educational brochures they prepared as part of their student projects, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of physical therapy and its role in improving the quality of life for children with cerebral palsy.
Several doctors, surgeons, and pediatric physical therapists attended the event, along with the families of children with cerebral palsy in Jordan. During the session, the lecturers emphasized the importance of physical therapy as the first and fundamental medical intervention in dealing with cerebral palsy cases from the first days of birth, highlighting the latest scientific reviews of surgical interventions, and stressing the need to intensify community awareness campaigns to support families and enable them to handle these cases with awareness and knowledge.
