Khaberni - In a world rapidly changing under the pressure of technology and modern communication means, the need to rethink the shape of community development and its role in building a more balanced future between humans and technology emerges.
In this context, Dr. Ziad Jalal Al-Hanafi presents his vision on digital transformation, describing it as an opportunity to revive the human dimension in development, not merely a technical process run by numbers and algorithms.

Dr. Ziad Al-Hanafi says that true digital transformation starts with people and not the system; a society capable of embracing change is one that invests in the awareness and education of its members, and gives them space to participate in shaping their future.
He believes that technological development should be a means to reduce social gaps, not widen them, and that successful institutions are those that use their digital tools to serve the values of justice, transparency, and empowerment.

Drawing on his experience in managing technology and commercial institutions, Dr. Al-Hanafi explains that community development cannot be separated from the private sector; institutions today are not only responsible for providing a product or service but also for contributing to shaping community awareness and building its digital culture.
He adds, "Innovation is not just in designing devices or programs, but in the way we use technology to make a positive impact on people's lives."

He sees that modern development should be based on a genuine partnership between the private sector and civil society, whereby knowledge is turned into practice, and digital transformation into culture.
He emphasizes that investing in people precedes any digital infrastructure, because technology without awareness produces isolation, while technology blended with values produces civilization.

Dr. Ziad Al-Hanafi concludes his vision with a clear call to reconsider the human dimension in everything called “digital”, saying:
"Community development is not a slogan, but a moral and professional commitment, and technology that does not serve humanity does not deserve to be called progress."
