Khaberni - Actress Sherihan and singer Hanin El Shater are participating with key acts in the grand opening of the Egyptian Grand Museum.

Local media have revealed the participation of a group of prominent art stars in the eagerly awaited event, with leading actress Sherihan who returns to the stage after a long absence to perform a show that blends traditional Egyptian heritage with modern visual imagination, along with performances by artist Hanin El Shater and Nubian singer Ahmed Ismail, who will present musical acts reflecting Egypt's cultural and civilizational diversity.

The event takes place tonight at the museum plaza in the Ramses area, after weeks of preparations that included closing the museum to visitors for a total of 19 days, starting from October 15 to November 1, to complete the final preparations for the event anticipated to be attended by high-profile figures from both inside and outside Egypt.

The Egyptian Grand Museum is one of the largest cultural projects in the world, sprawling over an area of 127 acres comprising six main parts, including the great hall housing the statues of Ramses II and Merenptah and several Ptolemaic kings and queens, in addition to the exhibition halls for King Tutankhamun and the museum of King Khufu's boats, which will be officially opened during today's presidential ceremony.

The Egyptian Grand Museum is located in Giza Governorate, just about 2 kilometers from the Pyramids of Giza, and is one of the biggest cultural projects implemented by Egypt in recent decades.

Its location is easily accessible whether via the road from Cairo International Airport or from the heart of the capital through a modern road network, making it a primary destination on the global tourism map, providing transportation options from key points to the museum to facilitate visitor movement.

The museum stretches over more than 500,000 square meters, making it one of the largest museums in the world dedicated to a single civilization. This vast area includes gigantic exhibition halls, open spaces, an entertainment and shopping area, alongside a restoration center and a world-class research center, making it an integrated cultural project combining culture, education, and entertainment all at once.
