Khaberni - United Media Services launched the first thrilling promo for the series "Between Doubt and Certainty", which showcases the biography of the late Egyptian thinker and physician Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, in preparation for the Ramadan season of 2027, in a step described by some as the most massive production of the upcoming season.
The series is directed by Kamela Abou Zekri, with a dramatic treatment by screenwriter Mohamed Hesham Obeya, in collaboration between United Media Services and "Media Hub" company.
The work highlights the historical details of the era and the philosophical depth of the character; suggesting a series that combines emotion and intellect together.
The producing company stated that the goal of launching the early promo is to create a state of anticipation among the audience towards a character influential in the Arab psyche, while maintaining the secrecy of the identity of the actor who will portray Mustafa Mahmoud, as the work is still in the stages of preparation and casting selection.
Dicussions continue about the format of the series, between presenting it in 15 intensive episodes or 30 episodes that explore the life milestones of the philosopher, from medicine and literature to philosophy and mysticism.
It is expected that the work will cover the period between 1921 and 2009, where Mustafa Mahmoud left a huge legacy in the Arab library with 89 books and more than 400 episodes of his famous program "Science and Faith".
The series aims to offer a new dramatic reading of the path of the Egyptian thinker who bridged science and religion in a simple style that reaches the hearts of millions, providing the audience with an experience that combines thought and art at the same time.
