At the Dead Sea Launching of the Second Phase of the Drone Race

Khaberni - This Friday from the Dead Sea area, the second phase of the HoverU Race (HoverU Race) for drones kicks off, organized by HoverUp, with fifty males and females who qualified out of more than 850 applicants, amidst an atmosphere full of enthusiasm, precision, speed, and creativity.

The second stage of the race will be held on a specially prepared track at the Dead Sea, from four o'clock in the afternoon until nine in the evening, where participants will compete in intense final competitions. The event will include live shows of drone flying using (FPV Drone) technology, combining speed, precision, and innovation in control, amidst a crowd of technology enthusiasts and fans of modern sports.

The organization of this unique event at the Dead Sea site serves as a symbol that combines the depth of the place with the height of ambition, underscoring Jordan's status as a leading center for technical sports and digital innovation in the region.

The race also aims to enhance community awareness about the importance of drone flying technologies and their multiple applications in the fields of industry, services, agriculture, and construction, keeping pace with the transition towards a smart economy.

The Executive Director of HoverUp stated that the race represents a significant step towards institutionalizing this type of sports in Jordan, confirming that the company aims through it to empower Jordanian youth and equip them with practical skills in controlling drones and using them safely and professionally.

He added that the intense interest in participation, with more than 850 male and female contestants applying, reflects the passion of Jordanian youth for technology and their ability to innovate and compete in the fields of the future.
