Khaberni - The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Al-Samirat, continued his field tours to monitor the progress of work on projects to establish comprehensive government service centers, where he inspected the construction sites in Rusaifa, Zarqa, and Mafraq on Thursday.
During this week, he also visited construction sites of the comprehensive government service centers in the western and northern regions of the capital, Amman.
Al-Samirat listened to technical briefings during his tours about the stages of implementation and the completion rates.
Al-Samirat emphasized the importance of completing the work within the specified timetable and with the highest standards of quality and safety, to ensure the readiness of these centers to provide integrated and effective government services that enhance citizens' confidence in government institutions and improve their experience in processing their transactions.
He noted that the construction of these centers is part of the government's strategy to develop the provinces and improve the level of services and distribute them fairly, explaining that their operation will begin progressively by the end of 2025.
Al-Samirat indicated that the ministry is continuing to empower the government service centers with the latest technologies and digital systems, through a trained and highly competent team that has achieved high satisfaction rates from citizens, to serve as a model in management efficiency and ease of access to services. He mentioned that the selection of these center locations was made according to precise standards prepared by a team from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, which take into consideration ease of access and fair geographical distribution, aligning with the executive program of the economic modernization vision and the public sector reform roadmap.
He added that these centers have proven their effectiveness through the quality of their services and the high levels of citizen satisfaction, affirming the ministry's commitment to continue developing the user experience and improving service delivery mechanisms to meet citizens' needs with the highest levels of efficiency and professionalism.
The comprehensive government service centers are among the most modern models of service delivery in the Kingdom, offering under one roof a wide range of services and extended working hours beyond official hours, providing citizens with greater flexibility in efficiently and easily completing their transactions.
The total number of transactions completed through the nine centers that have been established and operated reached 4,323,798 transactions, while these centers received about 1,740,612 visitors. Meanwhile, the ministry aims to increase the number to 15 centers by the end of 2025, as part of its plan to expand the service scope and generalize the experience across various provinces.
