Khaberni - A court in Los Angeles issued a sentence that orders the imprisonment of American producer David Brian Pierce (42 years old) for 146 years, after his conviction for committing two horrific murders against model Christy Giles (24 years old) and her friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola (26 years old), after drugging them during a party in 2021.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office clarified that Pierce was also convicted in 7 cases of rape and sexual assault targeting other women between 2007 and 2021, thus facing one of the harshest sentences issued against a public figure in Hollywood.
According to the investigations, Pierce met the two victims at a party in a warehouse in East Los Angeles in the early hours of November 13 (October) 2021, and then took them to his apartment in Beverly Hills, where he gave them a mixture of drugs, leading to their death within hours.
The court revealed that Pierce was known in the Beverly Hills artistic community for organizing parties that attracted models and young actresses, but in reality, he "practiced a recurring pattern of sexual crimes for more than 15 years, using drugs to sedate his victims before assaulting them" according to international newspapers.
Judge Eleanor Hunter issued her harsh ruling on Pierce to imprison him for 146 years, and the Los Angeles District Attorney, Nathan Houschman, described the accused as "a serial rapist and cold-blooded killer, who exploited his fake reputation as a producer to trap his victims."
The ruling reminded people of the controversy recently stirred by American rap star "Diddy" (Sean Combs), sparking renewed discussion about exploitation and violence within the American entertainment industry.
