Content Creators and the Age of Frivolity
الكاتب: أنس الرواشدة

Khaberni - We have all noticed the presence of content creators on all social media platforms addressing many societal issues, whether social, economic, or cultural. Unfortunately, many content creators lack the competence, professionalism, and experience in their presentations. Moreover, the degradation of the content or the subject matter being discussed necessitates the establishment of guidelines and rules for content creators and celebrities to preserve the values of our society and the authenticity of the traditions inherited from our ancestors, and to protect future generations from the moral decay showcased by content creators. It should not be allowed for anyone to set up a social media platform without specific regulations because the vast openness we are experiencing now is very dangerous to our society and will lead to the dissolution and detachment of our society from its values, traditions, and divine law. Therefore, it is imperative to put a stop to this matter because if you want to bring down a society or a state, you start by destroying its values, morals, upbringing, and you target its scholars and experts, and those with values in it.
Therefore, from this standpoint, we must preserve our scholars, thinkers, poets, and scientists so that they can become role models for us and for our future generations.
Unfortunately, in recent times, we have noticed that content creators have been honored by platforms, ministries, and international organizations to be role models for these generations, and the generations hurried to admire them with awards, leading to the trivial ones dominating the media scene.
Not to mention that content creators on social media platforms are not of significant status in their society and tribe, but they found appreciation and attention, and were honored on social media by exalting them and elevating their status, which is exactly what our enemies want. The new war has become a war of thought and systematic media that undermines our scientific and intellectual system, leaving us behind many countries in economics, scientific research, and technological advancement, reaching even to our tribal sheikhs, whom social media platforms cloaked in a fake bisht and abaya stained with lies and hypocrisy, and denying our sheikhs who had their social and symbolic sacred status inherited by their generosity, manliness, and noble stances. But today, unfortunately, those values and dignity have gone with their departure, and now the content creators are the ones who dominate the scene. We saw a rush of registrations at the Royal Diwan for the title of sheikh, and thousands hurried to obtain that abaya thinking that it grants them prestige, manliness, and generosity, but the reality is far from that.
