Khaberni - Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan continues its efforts in developing and expanding its academic exchange strategy for students and faculty members, aiming to exchange expertise and promote cultural and academic diversity through active partnerships with a number of European universities within the "Erasmus" (Erasmus+) program.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Aboushi, the director of the Office for International Relations at the university, explained that the university expanded its network of European partners during the current academic year, sending seven students from various faculties to partner universities in Europe for the first semester, while preparations are currently underway for fourteen more students for the second semester. He noted that the duration of study within the program extends to four months per semester, bringing the total expected number of participating students from the university during the academic year 2025-2026 to twenty-one students, distributed across universities in Poland, Belgium, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Serbia, and Portugal.
On his part, the university president, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Majali, affirmed that this program offers a distinctive experience that enriches the educational journey of students through exposure to diverse international academic and cultural experiences, contributing to shaping their personalities and developing their scientific and practical skills. He added that the university is committed to supporting such initiatives that align with its vision to keep up with global developments in higher education and enhance the competitiveness of its graduates in the local and international job market.
