Zaytuna University of Jordan Organizes a Student Mission for Umrah during the Holy Month of Ramadan

Khaberni  - Zaytuna University of Jordan organized a student mission to perform the Umrah rituals during the Holy month of Ramadan, where the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Munir Afishat bid farewell to the mission in the presence of the Deputy Dean, Dr. Mamoun Abu Hamad, in an atmosphere dominated by feelings of pride and dignity.

The mission included 96 students from various academic disciplines, accompanied by several employees from the Dean of Student Affairs office, as part of a program aimed at enhancing spiritual aspects and moral values among the students.

Dr. Afishat emphasized the university's commitment to supporting religious and spiritual activities that contribute to developing a balanced student personality, pointing out that organizing this trip, coinciding with the Holy month of Ramadan, aligns with the university’s vision to reinforce religious values and instill a sense of belonging among students. He urged the participants to represent the university well, and to adhere to the trip's regulations to ensure their safety and enable them to perform the rituals with ease and tranquility.

He added that the Dean of Student Affairs had made all the necessary arrangements to ensure the success of the trip, coordinating with the relevant authorities to secure the highest levels of comfort and care for the students during their stay in the holy lands, affirming the university’s ongoing commitment to organize such purposeful initiatives in the future.

For their part, the participating students expressed their profound happiness and gratitude towards the university administration and the Dean of Student Affairs for providing this opportunity, describing it as a unique spiritual experience. They praised the excellent organization and the attention to detail and confirmed that this initiative had a profound positive impact on them.
