Middle East Celebrating International Program Graduates A Partnership That Elevated the Concept of University Education

The President of the Board of Trustees of Middle East University, Dr. Yaqoub Nasereddin, sponsored the event in the presence of the British Deputy Ambassador Hazel Mubray, and the Vice President of the University of Bedfordshire, Professor Dr. Adrian Dutch, and the President of the University, Professor Dr. Salam Al-Mahadin, the university's celebration of graduating students from bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs hosted in partnership with the British University of Bedfordshire.

The ceremony witnessed a high-level official and academic attendance, including diplomatic and academic figures, members of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors, alongside deans of colleges and the graduates' families.

The British Deputy Ambassador Hazel Mubray stated in her speech during the ceremony that education is one of the most important bridges that connect societies and enhance international partnerships, praising the role Middle East University plays in collaboration with British educational institutions in providing a cross-border academic environment that enables students in Jordan to reach international educational standards, especially for those who may not have the opportunity to study abroad.

In his speech, the Vice President of the University of Bedfordshire, Professor Dr. Adrian Dutch, stated that this day represents a moment to reflect on the extent of efforts made and to move towards a future characterized by rapid change, noting that the partnership with Middle East University has been a pioneering model in the region, as it was the first university in Jordan to offer accredited British degrees, and has contributed to the graduation of hundreds of students, giving the University of Bedfordshire one of its largest graduate bases in the kingdom.

In turn, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Salam Al-Mahadin expressed her pride in the achievements of the University of Bedfordshire students who completed their programs within a cross-border educational environment, emphasizing that the skills and knowledge acquired by the graduates will form a fundamental pillar in their upcoming journey and in their contribution to the development of their communities.

Representative of the Doctoral Programme in Business Administration, Dr. Sarah Nasereddin, stated that her standing today on the graduation platform was the fruit of a journey that spanned over a decade, and that her engagement in the hosted doctoral program led her to realize the true value of this comprehensive educational model.

In the same context, the representative of the masters and bachelor's graduates, Sarah Hajawi, said that standing today to receive the master's degree after a journey that began with a bachelor's, embodies the meaning of continuity and ambition, adding that behind each graduate is a story of struggle and patience, and that the challenges faced by the students were the real motivation to continue.

Certificates were handed to the graduates amidst a festive atmosphere dominated by feelings of pride and accomplishment.
