Khaberni - The administration of Rehabilitation Centers, in collaboration with the Abdul Majid Shoman Foundation, opened the library at the Women's Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, as part of the ongoing cooperation between the two parties aimed at enhancing the overall system of reform and rehabilitation.
This opening is part of the strategic efforts made by the Public Security Directorate to improve the rehabilitative environment for inmates at rehabilitation and reform centers, according to the latest specialized specifications and standards, and to develop their cognitive abilities, instill positive values, and assist in their reintegration into society as active individuals after completing their sentences.
The library, designed according to the latest specifications and standards, represents a quality addition to the center, as it provides a knowledge space for the inmates to access a wide range of diverse books, aligning with the rehabilitative programs and activities implemented by the administration of rehabilitation centers.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Assistant Director of Public Security for Judiciary, Brigadier Noorz Hakooz, member of the House of Notables Haifa Al-Najjar, Director of Rehabilitation Centers Brigadier Falah Al-Majali, CEO of Abdul Hamid Shoman Foundation Valentina Qsisia, and several officers from the Public Security and stakeholders from the Abdul Hamid Shoman library.
