Khaberni - In its ongoing pursuit of academic excellence and enhancing global quality standards in engineering education, Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan welcomed a delegation from the American Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET), as part of the procedures for renewing the international accreditation for the College of Engineering and Technology programs at the university.

The delegation included a group of international experts and evaluators specialized in ensuring the quality of engineering education, where the preliminary results of the evaluation process were presented during an official meeting held at the university presidency, attended by the university president Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Majali, the vice president Professor Dr. Tareq Al-Qurum, the dean of the College of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr. Yousef Jaradat, and members of the faculty.

The visit included assessments of civil and infrastructure engineering, electrical engineering / communications and computer engineering, electrical engineering / power and control, and mechanical engineering.

The ABET delegation praised the advanced academic level of the College of Engineering and Technology, the faculty and administrative staff, and the level of students and their projects, acknowledging the success of this visit.

Professor Dr. Al-Majali expressed his pride in the progress achieved by the college in all its departments, noting that the teams in the four programs had made significant efforts in developing curriculum plans, updating laboratories, and improving learning environments, in accordance with the latest global standards in engineering education, which contributes to enhancing the college graduates' opportunities in the local and international job market.
