Khaberni - Apple appears to be preparing versions of four of its apps for release on iPad tablets.
The four applications are: "Pixelmator Pro," "Compressor," "Motion," and "MainStage," all currently available only for Macs, according to a report by "MacRumors," a website specializing in technology news, reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business".
"Pixelmator Pro" is a professional photo editing application that Apple acquired earlier this year.
"Compressor" is a companion application for "Final Cut Pro" for compressing audio and video files.
"Motion" is also a companion application for "Final Cut Pro" to create titles, transitions, and two- or three-dimensional effects.
"MainStage" is a companion for "Logic Pro" for live performances.
A limited capability version of the "Pixelmator" application is already available for iPad and iPhone devices.
"Final Cut Pro" and "Logic Pro" have been available for selected iPad models since May 2023, but Apple's companion applications for both programs have been limited to Mac devices only.
Using "Final Cut Pro" and "Logic Pro" on an iPad requires a subscription, costing in the United States $4.99 per month or $49 per year for both applications.
The applications "Pixelmator Pro," "Compressor," "Motion," and "MainStage" are available for a one-time purchase for Mac devices, with prices ranging between $29.99 and $49.99.
It is not yet clear whether the iPad versions of these applications will also require a subscription.
