Khaberni - I am not skilled in politics, nor am I among those who covet positions or office decorations... I am not one who is fascinated by honors, nor am one who loves to collect shields and certificates of appreciation... and I do not long to wear traditional robes and speak on behalf of the clan and tribe.... and I had no luck in continuing education, with the old high school being my last education....and I am not, and I am not, and I am not...
This introduction and this preface made me stop a lot at crossroads in my life and many who resemble me or at least who believed that the future could be more beautiful....
But the worst and the ugliest is now in the path of many....
Many may wonder as they read now between the lines what the reason for this is...
What prompted me to write is what I see from political bickering about parties and their role in developing political life in Jordan and their ability to change ideas and amend decisions. I began to try changing my way of thinking about the philosophy of life and started searching through social media for something called parties and through these means, specifically in 2018, I began searching for party names that would appear to me or welcome and invite me to join them and started a journey of searching for what matches my ideas... I delved into research and study and started to review appealing names of the parties and fascinating invitations from some of them to catch attention and win membership...and I finally settled on a particular party, started corresponding, and took the first steps to register my name in the list of the party I chose and I must tell you I had great fear and trepidation that security agencies might intervene in sidelining my party desires and ending this idea but conversations of His Majesty the King and his future vision for party political life in Jordan and his aspirations towards a stable party political life were a motivation for me to pursue a dream that had haunted me since childhood to be a politician, but this dream halted with the stop of continuing education...and I wanted to channel this energy and try to achieve success, however modest, through the parties and that was possible by joining a political party and all that happened through social media only until it came to light after five years and the party was proclaimed and announced through its general conference at the Dead Sea and the contact remained remote either through messages or by speaking via Zoom....and thus the matter began for me as if it were on the right track... only for the parliamentary elections to come, in which the parties had a role and their share of members according to a new election law...
But the issues at the elections and thereafter changed my thoughts completely upside down... what I had believed in or what I had hoped would be was not... and most of the ideas advocated by the parties were just slogans, no more, and that the political parties are just a means for the elite to achieve their goals and ambitions which could only be achieved through what is called party life...and what we see today of party bickering and also the settling of party scores reassures us that some entered the parties not because they believed in the parties but aiming to achieve an end they could not reach through tribalism or their academic degrees but reached it through the price paid for their seat in the aim of reaching and some indeed achieved, perhaps the goal of some was to become ministers through parties because it was in their belief that governments would be formed from parties and I am certain that some party personalities entered the parties aiming to form the ministry and their ambitions failed and their rosy dreams withered... and some of them began to withdraw slowly from their party life and some withdrew completely despite having been a minister of political development....
And if a survey were conducted among the general population on the useful roles or axes that political parties offer to the people, we would find nothing worth mentioning...
From here I announce a final and irrevocable divorce from my withdrawal and resignation from any party and from not wishing to join any party in the future....the matter is concluded
